Java Azure Developer Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Start Date: 19 August 2026 Duration: 6 months Experience: 8–10 years Language: English Work Arrangement: Amsterdam Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Java Azure Developer to join a development team working on modern, cloud-native applications within the banking domain . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Microsoft Azure. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot . Develop and integrate microservices-based architectures . Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure . Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment. Apply software engineering best practices for scalable, secure, and reliable applications. Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and other technical teams. Troubleshoot application and deployment issues and contribute to continuous improvement. Work within banking/financial services environments , understanding relevant business and technical requirements. Must-Have Skills 8–10 years of professional software development experience . Strong expertise in Core Java . Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot . Strong experience designing and developing microservices . Practical experience with Microsoft Azure . Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications. Solid experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices. Previous experience in the banking/financial services domain . Strong understanding of cloud-native application development. Good communication and collaboration skills in English .
