Java Developer

Job Summary Synechron is seeking a Java Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable Java applications. The role will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, resolve technical issues, and support continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. Software Requirements Required Java 8+; Java 17+ preferred Spring and Spring Boot Microservices and REST APIs Hibernate or comparable ORM technology Gradle and Git CI/CD pipelines Basic Linux command-line skills One or more of MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server Experience with Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans, or a comparable IDE Unit and integration testing Preferred Struts Spring Data, Spring Security, or Spring Cloud Cloud platforms and containerization Application monitoring and logging tools Overall Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications. Design and implement services using Java, Spring, and microservices principles. Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code. Diagnose and resolve technical issues within agreed timelines. Preferred: Database design, query optimization, migrations, or NoSQL exposure. Cloud Technologies Essential: Understanding of applications deployed in hosted or cloud environments.
