Java Technical Consultant

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 5 - 20 LPA) Min Experience: 3+ years Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India JobType: full-time We are looking for a Java Technical Consultant with strong experience in Core Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms and a strong understanding of the banking domain , with the ability to work on complex technical solutions in a product-oriented environment. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot . Develop robust and high-performance backend services aligned with business and technical requirements. Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to build and deploy enterprise applications. Apply banking domain knowledge to understand business requirements and deliver relevant technology solutions. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to analyze requirements and provide effective technical solutions. Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes. Follow best practices for coding, application architecture, security, scalability, and performance. Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities. Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of professional experience in Core Java development. Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot . Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP . Banking domain experience is mandatory. Experience working in a product-based company would be an added advantage. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
