ROLE IMPACT To safely operate, monitor, and maintain fertilizer production equipment and processes to ensure the efficient manufacture of quality fertilizer products that meet production targets, safety standards, environmental requirements, and customer specifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Production Operations Obtain and accurately follow batch cards issued by the Plant Supervisor. Ensure reactors, pumps, strainers, lines, and associated equipment are clean and ready before starting production. Verify that reactors are empty, free from contamination, and suitable for the next batch. Add raw materials according to batch card instructions and specified quantities. Record production information, including batch start times, finish times, transfer times, and material additions. Print and verify weight records after each product addition. Monitor mixing processes to ensure correct formulation and product quality. Equipment Inspection and Monitoring Conduct daily inspections of conveyors, agitators, pumps, reactors, valves, and other production equipment. Check load cells, transmitters, and scales to ensure accurate readings before production starts Ensure all inlet and outlet valves are correctly positioned before and during operations.
