L2 Application Support Engineer 2500

Key Responsibilities Provide L2 technical support for production and non-production environments, with strong hands-on experience in Linux, Oracle Database, and Shell Scripting. Monitor the health and performance of applications, servers, databases, and infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across applications, middleware, databases, networks, and operating systems. Support deployments, releases, patching, upgrades, and post-implementation validation activities. Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational and technical support activities. Execute SQL queries, perform database health checks and performance validation, and carry out basic database administration tasks. Support certificate renewals, password rotations, user access management, and security compliance activities. Monitor batch jobs, integrations, interfaces, and scheduled system processes. Assist with Disaster Recovery (DR) testing, environment validation, and service restoration activities. Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and operational runbooks. Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, network, and vendor teams to investigate and resolve technical issues. Participate in on-call support and critical incident troubleshooting as required.
