Position Overview: This position directly supports the Defense Fuels mission space by enabling reliable, high ‑ speed data acquisition and integrated controls across critical fuel infrastructure, ensuring secure and compliant operations where high ‑ speed LabVIEW systems interface with low ‑ speed PLC ‑ controlled platforms to maintain mission readiness. The engineer leads development of high ‑ speed LabVIEW data acquisition and control systems, ensures synchronized communication, data integrity, and reliability across multi ‑ platform control architectures, and provides engineering support for a diverse range of test operations, from small benchtop setups to large ‑ scale industrial qualification stands. An active DOE Q clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, is required. Location: On-site in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Your Day to Day as a LabVIEW Systems Engineer: Architect, develop, and maintain LabVIEW applications for high-speed data acquisition and real-time control. Design communication bridges between high-speed LabVIEW systems and low-speed PLC platforms. Collaborate with PLC engineers to align LabVIEW logic with interlocks, alarming, and I/O management.
