SHIFT Multiple Shifts (United States of America) A BRIEF OVERVIEW The CNC Set Up Machinist contributes to the production of medical devices by operating and performing basic set ups of CNC machines. This position requires hands-on CNC lathe experience, including previous experience setting up and operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. The CNC Set Up Machinist must be able to identify X, Y, Z, and 0 coordinates and may operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously, including lathes and mills. Previous CNC machine set-up experience in a manufacturing environment is required, with CNC lathe set-up experience strongly preferred. WHAT YOU WILL DO Performs set up of 3 & 4 Axis CNC machines. Operates multiple machines simultaneously. Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance. Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets. Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with minimal supervision. Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community. Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS). Completes all required training. Performs set up of 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC machines. Operates multiple machines simultaneously. Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance. Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets. Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with minimal supervision. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS High School Or Equivalent (Required) EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred) 2+ Years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment (Required) Experience Operating CNC Equipment/Machining (Required) LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Machining Trade School (Preferred) CERTIFICATION-9-7306 Machining Trade School (Preferred) KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS THAT ENABLE SUCCESS Problem Solving - Working Experience Machine Set Up - Extensive Experience Visual Quality Assurance - Working Experience GD&T - Extensive Experience Blueprint Reading - Extensive Experience Information Processing - Working Experience Quality Inspection Metrology Tools - Working…
