Lead Custodian
Location: Spokane, Washington (Federal Building and U.S. Post Office)
Type: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Full-Time | M-F, Day Shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm)
Compensation: $20.35 - $20.35/hour

Tessera is seeking a MOTIVATED and HARDWORKING Lead Custodian with a positive/helpful attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Lead by example while performing daily custodial duties alongside the custodial team.
Assign, coordinate, and monitor daily work assignments to ensure all contract requirements are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
Train, coach, and support custodial employees on proper cleaning techniques, equipment operation, safety procedures, and contract expectations.
Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness, quality, and compliance with contract standards, addressing deficiencies as needed.
Follow and promote all safety policies, procedures, and industrial safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, federal employees, building occupants, visitors, and management.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish restroom supplies while following cross-contamination prevention procedures.
Sweep, vacuum, dust, wet mop, and maintain offices, courtrooms, hallways, stairwells, lobbies, entrances, elevators,…
