Job Description Overall Job Purpose The position provides an opportunity to develop professional competencies, gain industry knowledge, and acquire hands-on experience through exposure to operational and business processes. Specific Job Responsibilities Learn and understand the overall business operations and departmental functions. Assist with day-to-day departmental activities and assigned projects. Support data collection, analysis, record keeping, and report preparation. Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives. Participate in operational activities, inspections, audits, and site visits where applicable. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems. Attend meetings, training sessions, toolbox talks, and workshops. Provide suggestions and ideas for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Learn and become proficient in relevant company systems, processes, and procedures. Fulfil tasks assigned by the supervisor, mentor, or departmental management. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and code of conduct requirements. Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Demonstrate commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental stewardship. Comply with all mining regulations, company safety procedures, and operational standards. Correctly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required. Identify and report hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly. Participate actively in safety meetings, training, and awareness initiatives.
