The team is responsible for securing Deezer's commercial activities, managing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all markets. It works transversally with all business divisions — from Partnerships, Product & Tech, Marketing and Music Licensing to Finance and IT team — providing expert legal guidance to support Deezer's growth and operations. Within the Legal & Business Affairs team, you will join the Marketing & B2C division, a team of 3 people, and will report directly to the Team Lead. As a Legal Counsel within the Marketing & B2C sub-division, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end legal support to Deezer's marketing teams and B2C operational teams, managing a broad range of commercial contracts, and ensuring that Deezer's consumer-facing activities remain compliant with applicable French and European regulations. Main tasks and missions are: Drafting and harmonizing Deezer’s consumer-facing documentation (terms and conditions, legal notices, special T&C’s) across different territories (EU, US etc.) ; Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements for both marketing and B2C activities, including agency agreements, event organization contracts, licence agreements, service provider agreements, sponsorship deals, contest rules, and broadcasting authorization templates, terms and conditions; Providing timely recommendations and alerts to Marketing and B2C operational teams to ensure ongoing compliance and anticipate upcoming requirements.
