CCMCF is a seeking a energetic individual to join our team as a full-time team member of our Life Enrichment Activity Department. You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide activities that enrich and enhance the well-being of our residents. Tuition reimbursement Paid Holidays Qualifications: Preferred current Michigan CNA Certification Required Chauffeur's license Minimum 1 year experience planning, organizing and carrying out activity programs Experience with Residents with Dementia and Alzheimer's preferred. Ability to plan activities and programming for residents Experience working with residents in a long-term care or similar setting Ability to build rapport with residents Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology Ability to work well in teams Experience using a variety of technology devises Computer knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office program Responsibilities: Play an integral role on the Life Enrichment Team, providing activities and programs to residents. Plan, organize and lead resident activities. Assist with residents care as needed. Provide companionship and care to residents This position will be full-time during the day shift working the hours of 9:00 am -5:00 pm. Evening and Weekend shifts will be required on a rotating basis throughout the year. The hours are set in advance so you can plan accordingly for weekend or evening shift.
