LMS Administrator
Location: On-Site - Irving, Texas
In-Office 4 days a week
POSITION SUMMARY:
Administers the Learning Management System (LMS) and builds and maintains eLearning modules and course content across the organization. Coordinates internal and external training logistics, and maintains accurate, up-to-date training records and reporting to support compliance, completion tracking, and course effectiveness for all staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
LMS Administration:
Administer the LMS, including user accounts, course assignments, learning paths, and system configuration
Troubleshoot LMS issues and escalate system-level problems to vendor support
Manage system integrations (HRIS sync, SSO) and ensure SCORM/xAPI compliance of hosted content
eLearning Development:
Build, upload, and maintain eLearning modules and course content within the LMS
Apply instructional design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG/508) to new content
Partner with internal departments to identify training needs and support content development
Training Coordination:
Coordinate scheduling, enrollment, and logistics for internal and external training courses
Liaise with external training providers to coordinate course delivery, content licensing, and access
Records & Reporting:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records for all employees
Generate and distribute reports on training completion, compliance, and course effectiveness
Monitor employee progress and follow up on overdue or incomplete training
Communication & Stakeholder Liaison:
Distribute training literature and communications to relevant departments and individuals
Act as the primary point of contact between internal departments and external training providers
SUCCESS MEASURES:
KPIs
LMS uptime and course completion rates across the organization
Accuracy and timeliness of training records and compliance reporting
Turnaround time to build and publish new eLearning modules
Stakeholder satisfaction with training coordination and communication
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:
Partners with
Department Managers — training needs identification, content development
External Training Providers — course delivery, content licensing/access
HR / Compliance — training records, audit-readiness
IT — LMS configuration, integrations, and technical troubleshooting
