Compensation Grade The Logistics Operator is responsible for loading and shipping product from raw material delivery to shipment of finished product while maintaining a safe work environment through operational excellence and accordance with the INEOS 20 Safety Principles and the Life Saving Rules. The Logistics Operator must be aware of and follow all safety and security guidelines according to Company policy and in compliance with all applicable environmental, safety and government regulations. This position will work in a Union environment. The current rates for this position range from $29.88 – $35.08. Selected candidates will be offered the starting rate and will receive increases up to top-out based on successful achievement of required job qualifications. Accountabilities of the job: Safety: Commit to learning, following, and practicing INEOS 20 Principles of Process & Behavioral Safety as applicable to the position. Embraces Life Saving Rules in all aspects of the job. Responsible for personal safety, the safety of co-workers and promoting a safe work environment; responsible for carrying out all work activities in compliance with state and federal environmental regulations. Raises safety concerns immediately to management. Placing systems in a safe condition for maintenance work through the Safe Work Permit process, supporting maintenance activities and communicating statuses. Participating in training and assisting in the training of new employees. Responding to emergency situations as required. Proactive: Provides accurate and timely communication to co-workers and works with other functions to improve individual and logistics performance. Ensure proper shift turnover by providing effective written and oral communications to the relieving shift that cover routine and non-routine issues, problems faced, unit operating conditions, etc. Applying statistical tools to enhance product quality and participating on improvement teams. Loading: Inspecting containers for loading/unloading and documenting the inspection results. Loading/unloading bulk liquid materials utilizing railcars, tank trucks, and Iso-tanks. Bulk liquid material transfers throughout specified tank farms. Preparation and loading of finished products for domestic and export shipments. Operating a track mobile and switching railcars. performing minor maintenance on equipment. Isolation and decontamination of plant equipment.
