What do our Mail Room Clerk do?
The Mail Room Clerk will support the Facilities Supervisor for mailing operations and internal distribution processes. Handles incoming, outgoing and interoffice mail, using both manual and automated methods.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Sorts inbound mail, parcels, and time-sensitive packages
Scans accountable items into database
Picks up outbound materials from Terminix business units and internal departments, including interoffice mail.
Processes outbound automated First Class Mail and express shipments
Scans returned invoices and statements into databases.
What do you need?
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but routine, written or verbal instructions
Detail oriented with good organizational skills
Dependable and adaptable to operate within a fast-paced work environment
Ability to prioritize scheduled tasks according to timeline commitments
Must pass pre-employment background screen
