In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Manager. Position Summary Our new Maintenance Manager will be contributing to the implementation of our Service Excellence Culture at our fully renovated Resort in Corfu, Ella Elyra, opening its doors in 2027 . The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervising and developing the Maintenance Team, and providing high quality services. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all physical assets within the hotel. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage resources effectively. The key responsibilities of this position are the general administration of the Maintenance Department, including proper maintenance and repair of all buildings, fixtures, fittings, and equipment as technical improvements, preventive maintenance and utilities consumption control. The post holder provides a professional, advisory and executive support service to the General Manager to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment. Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities Leadership Activities Recruit, train, and supervise a team of maintenance staff, including technicians, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC specialists Preparing work schedules and annual leave schedules within budget, business expectations and guidelines of the appropriate industrial legislation Attending daily morning briefing Conducting daily briefing and distributes work assignments Conducting monthly departmental meetings to keep MA staff informed and to seek feedback Preparing and attending to profit and loss and variance analysis for departmental financial performance Leading meetings and analyzing performance and ways to improve performance Participating in Corporate Social Responsible activities Conducting training for Maintenance and other departments Troubleshooting and Response Planning, designing and implementing minor projects, to improve efficiency or reduce other operating and maintenance costs Defining project and equipment specifications, estimating costs Maintaining the upkeep, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the entire hotel facility including the…
