We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager in Cambridge, ON.
FUNCTION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing technical activities, as well as leading technical engineering improvement projects, related to the maintenance of GMP manufacturing equipment and systems. Reporting to the Production Director, this role ensures compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The Maintenance Manager leads a multidisciplinary team and oversees the development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and technical support strategies to optimize equipment performance, safety, and reliability.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the electrical and mechanical maintenance staff to ensure all, preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities are performed to support manufacturing operations.
Works closely with Production Shift Managers to provide maintenance and technical support where it will be of greatest benefit to overall manufacturing operations.
Analyzes manufacturing equipment performance to identify sources of downtime and scrap production; allocates and prioritizes maintenance resources to determine root causes of equipment performance problems and correct them.
