What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment community. Daily responsibilities include:
Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance
Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections
Maintain community amenities, common areas, and grounds to company standards
Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property
Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with management and residents
Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver exceptional resident service
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification
Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience
Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for business-related responsibilities
Working knowledge of: HVAC systems
Plumbing
Electrical
Appliance repair
Carpentry
General building maintenance
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
