As Maintenance Technician II (Mechanical Technician II), you will play an important role in supporting the safe and reliable operation of our gas transmission facilities. Apply today and build your future with Enbridge.   What You Will Do: Perform maintenance and repairs on natural gas turbines, compressors, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues using diagnostic and condition-monitoring tools. Conduct inspections, alignments, component replacements, and equipment overhauls. Read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance procedures, and manufacturer specifications. Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS systems. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, and permit-required work. Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and emergency response activities. Mentor junior mechanics and assist with reliability improvement initiatives. Assist with additional operational tasks, which may include equipment operation, measurement, telecommunications, electrical controls, and other maintenance-related activities based on business needs.   Who You Are: High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience. Experience with gas turbines, compressors, rotating equipment, or related energy infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and safely in an industrial environment. Proficiency with standard computer and office software applications. Valid driver's license with the ability to maintain driving privileges.   Preferred: Experience maintaining and repairing pipeline, compressor station, or industrial mechanical equipment. Working knowledge of gas transmission operations and related maintenance practices. Experience with rotating equipment, compressors, Caterpillar high speed engine compressor, cooling systems, fuel systems, and auxiliary station equipment. Demonstrated desire to learn, develop technical expertise, and progress within the Mechanical Technician career path. Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements applicable to pipeline or energy operations. Experience in natural gas transmission, compressor stations, or utility operations.
