Born in Texas in 2003, we own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in local communities across the United States, totaling 4 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.   LRE continues to help meet increased U.S. energy demand through our robust pipeline of new projects every year. Domestic jobs and manufacturing are fundamental to our full-lifecycle approach to projects, along with a long-term ownership model and a company culture dedicated to our community partners and protecting the natural environment.  Job Summary: The Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting (M3) will lead LRE’s external financial reporting process, supporting internal reporting needs, managing audit deliverables, and serving as a subject matter expert on complex U.S. GAAP matters. This role researches, evaluates, concludes on, and documents technical accounting positions; partners with business stakeholders to apply those conclusions operationally; and helps maintain a scalable, controlled, and audit-ready reporting environment. Manage key audit deliverables, coordinate with external auditors, resolve audit questions, and ensure supporting documentation is prepared, reviewed, and retained in a manner that supports efficient audit execution. Lead the evaluation of complex accounting matters, including researching applicable guidance, preparing technical accounting memoranda, concluding on appropriate treatment, supporting implementation of conclusions, and maintaining documentation that is clear, supportable, and audit ready. Monitor and implement new accounting standards (e.g., FASB accounting standards updates) and assess their impact. Identify, recommend, and help implement process improvements that strengthen the accounting team’s reporting timelines, documentation standards, review controls, quality of work, and scalability. Support the monthly and quarterly close process by reviewing consolidation entries, intercompany eliminations, equity accounting, and reporting schedules for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with the Company’s reporting requirements.
