We are looking for a talented Manager, Integration Engineering to join our growing global team at Sectigo.
The Manager, Integration Engineer will build and drive integration engineering capability from our India GCC. This team owns our engineering-led approach to third-party and platform integrations, starting with our ServiceNow implementation and a new pilot integrating PSA (Professional Services Automation) marketplace platforms into our core platform. This leader is genuinely AI-native by integrating AI tools daily in how we code, test, document, and make decisions.
Please Note: The Reporting Manager and the Work Arrangement requirements may be modified and redesigned based on business needs to ensure operational flexibility and organizational effectiveness.
Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:
Build the team, from zero
Define team structure and hiring plan for a new Integration Engineering org in Chennai.
Own a blended workforce model: manage specialized consultants and a contracting team, with a contract-to-hire approach as the default and direct hiring for key roles where warranted.
Recruit, onboard, and develop engineers; set the technical bar and team culture from day one. Own integration engineering delivery
Take ownership of the ServiceNow workstream already underway, including a candid retrospective on what hasn't worked so far.
Stand up the engineering model for the Pax8/ConnectWise marketplace/PSA integration pilot, in partnership with specialized consultants and the core platform team.
Build this into a repeatable capability as the integration portfolio grows beyond these two initiatives. Define the operating model with core platform engineering
Partner directly with the core platform engineering leadership to define architecture and integration patterns, required APIs/workflows, source-code access boundaries, development standards, and the technical point-of-contact model between teams.
Push for a model where the core platform team focuses on the platform and exposes clean APIs/capabilities, while your team builds and owns integrations on top not one where core teams build every integration themselves. Lead as an AI-native engineering manager
Use AI tools yourself, day to day for design exploration, code review, testing, documentation, and even parts of people/project management and set that as the visible norm for the team, not an optional add-on.
Build documentation, API contracts, and integration patterns that are discoverable and usable by AI agents, not just humans.
Create an engineering environment where AI increasingly assists with implementation, testing, validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer this is a core operating principle for the org from day one, not a future aspiration.
Actively evaluate and introduce new AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows as they emerge, rather than waiting for direction from above. Operate as a proactive, senior…
