Application Deadline: 10/19/2026 Address: 33 Dundas Street West Job Family Group: Strategy & Change This is a hybrid role in Toronto The Mutual Fund Governance team is responsible for the overall governance framework for the mutual fund dealer, including policies, processes, procedures, systems, controls, training, and reporting. The team provides regulatory and operational advisory support to business partners and the frontline, develops practical tools, guidance, and training programs to support the effective execution of policies and procedures, and promotes a strong culture of compliance and risk management.   This role designs, develops, implements, tests, measures, and manages mutual fund dealer processes, ensuring process design reflects business strategy, regulatory requirements, stakeholder needs, and the desired client experience. The role requires a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape, including CIRO Mutual Fund Dealer Rules and other applicable regulatory obligations. Responsibilities include leading regulatory change and implementation, supporting audits and reviews, driving remediation of regulatory and operational issues, delivering process enhancements, developing and maintaining dealer programs, and providing data-driven metrics and reporting to support oversight and decision-making. Processes may relate to operations, service, sales, supervision, and other dealer activities. Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group. Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives. Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business. Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making. Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues. Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Builds effective relationships and collaborates with internal/external stakeholders. Ensures alignment between stakeholders. Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues. Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards. Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives. Leads or participates in defining the change/communication plan designed to positively influence or change behaviour; develops tailored messaging; and identifies appropriate distribution channels. Designs and provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs. Develops and documents processes, procedures, etc. and/ or end-user materials.
