We are committed to providing extraordinary service to our customers, helping our employees improve, supporting our communities, and increasing the value of the company for our shareholders.     Position Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of facility operations, safety, maintenance, quality, food safety, staffing, grain inventory management, and financial performance at our Hensall, Ontario food-grade grain processing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a highly engaged manager who leads by example, develops employees, drives a strong safety culture, and continuously challenges the status quo to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and profitability. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with employees, customers, producers, and business partners while ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory and food safety requirements. The Operations Manager is expected to develop a deep understanding of all facility functions, make informed day-to-day operational decisions, anticipate business needs, and create an environment where employees take pride in their work, grow professionally, and remain committed to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership & Culture Lead and actively promote a world-class safety culture where safety is integrated into every task and decision. Conduct regular facility inspections, identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and ensure effective risk controls are in place. Lead engaging toolbox discussions and safety meetings that clearly communicate expectations, encourage participation, and reinforce accountability. Ensure all employees receive appropriate safety training and fully understand safe work practices and company expectations.
