The location for this position is Katy, TX (Street Address: 1039 Schlipf Rd., KATY, Texas)

Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as an Intern in the Aerospace Defense & Marine Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
Monitor data quality and perform validation checks to improve reporting accuracy.
Partner with stakeholders to support compliance and sustainability project support.
Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products
Assist in developing and maintaining production Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Help automate and streamline processes using Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
Responsibilities

Create and maintain standard work, routings, and work instructions
Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive business initiatives
Support layout, design, and workflow optimization for production areas
Identify and eliminate waste using Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, etc.)
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
• Have earned a high school diploma or GED
• Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
