Job Title: Operator II, Manufacturing (Portsmouth)
Who You Are:
You are an early-career manufacturing operator who takes pride in producing quality work, following standard processes, and working safely as part of a team. You are building confidence in machine operation, learning core manufacturing principles, and are motivated to grow your skills within your department.
Position Overview:
Operator II is an entry-level manufacturing role responsible for operating assigned equipment and processes while following established work instructions, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role focuses on developing technical proficiency, consistency, and strong Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) discipline under supervision and through training.
What You Will Do:
Operate machinery and equipment following standard work instructions
Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks of finished goods
Complete production work orders and documentation accurately
Perform basic equipment set-up, changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance
Follow GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements always
Participate in 5S, PPI, and other continuous improvement activities
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to operate equipment with routine supervision
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
0-1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred

4-day workweek – Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts (1st and 2nd shift available)
