Responsibilities
Coordinate the flow of materials from suppliers to the Rimac plant, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of components.
Maintain optimum stock levels aligned with production plans, customer demand, and defined min/max stock quantities.
Ensure availability of all materials required for production on time and in the correct quantities.
Generate purchase requisitions, coordinate transport, and manage deliveries of incoming materials.
Administer and maintain the MRP system, ensuring accurate data entry and configuration.
Establish and coordinate EDI transactions with suppliers, ensuring smooth data exchange for purchase orders, shipping notices, and invoices.
Analyze and improve the efficiency of material control systems (MRP, EDI, etc.) to enhance system utilization and data accuracy.
Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with EDI protocols and timely delivery of materials.
Develop and implement corrective actions to resolve any issues or inefficiencies in the material supply process.
Manage material forecasts, update replenishment plans, and ensure the availability of returnable packaging to support operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Operations, or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience in material control systems.
Proven experience in production planning, material management, and inventory control, preferably within the Automotive industry
Hands-on experience with MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) systems and material control systems.
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
