Purpose
The Material Coordinator serves as the material-flow interface between Development, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Operations, ensuring materials and consumables required for development, assembly, and system integration are available when and where needed.
The Development organization builds large-format laser powder-bed fusion (LPBF) sub-assemblies, complete printer systems, and ancillary modules that form adaptive production systems. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with changing material requirements, hardware configurations, build priorities, and delivery needs.
This role works directly with development teams to understand requirements and with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to establish and continuously improve receiving, staging, delivery, replenishment, and shortage-management processes. The role is focused on coordinating and improving material flow rather than performing traditional warehouse picking or kitting.
This position may be filled at the Specialist II, III, or IV level based on demonstrated knowledge, experience, independence, complexity of work, and scope of responsibility.
