The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role supports production operations by ensuring materials are available when needed, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping work areas organized and safe.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.
Supply production areas with materials and remove completed products as needed.
Load, unload, stack, and organize materials in designated locations.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as authorized.
Verify product counts and material identification for accuracy.
Monitor material levels and replenish production areas to prevent downtime.
Assist with inventory counts, material tracking, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
Forklift experience.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
