Summary The MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) Account Representative supports the growth of Mainstream Fiber’s MDU business by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with property owners and managers, and assisting with sales development efforts across apartment communities, HOAs, and residential developments. This role will help promote Mainstream’s fiber internet solutions, support outreach and follow-up, assist with proposal coordination, and collaborate with internal teams to move opportunities through the pipeline from initial conversation to project handoff. Role and responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, owners, developers, HOA contacts, and other key decision-makers within the MDU market. Research and identify new opportunities within assigned markets, including apartments, multi-dwelling properties, mobile home communities, HOAs, senior living communities, and residential developments. Present and promote Mainstream Fiber Networks’ products and services to prospective property partners. Meet assigned Monthly Business Objectives (MBOs), which serve as performance goals and are subject to change each month based on business needs. Plan weekly routes and maintain an accurate Outlook calendar that includes property visits, meetings, travel time, and other scheduled commitments. Partner with internal teams, including engineering, construction, marketing, project management, legal, and sales, to support a smooth handoff from opportunity to project planning, installation, and activation. Provide professional and timely support to property contacts, including existing accounts, helping address questions, concerns, and follow-up needs. Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management, including reporting on outreach activity, pipeline status, property opportunities, and progress toward assigned goals. Participate in property meetings, resident events, industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as assigned. Conduct in-person property visits, phone outreach, personalized email outreach, presentations, and follow-up communication to generate and advance opportunities. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay informed and identify potential growth opportunities. Use an assigned company vehicle for scheduled field travel. Follow all company vehicle, mileage, and safety procedures. Complete additional tasks as assigned. Additional role and responsibilities Support outreach efforts through phone calls, emails, in-person visits, follow-up communication, and CRM activity tracking. Support proposal development, agreement follow-up, and coordination of sales opportunities to help move properties through the pipeline.
