From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.    About the Role As a Mechanical Engineer (Compliance), you’ll play an important role in supporting engineering compliance and safety across our Leven Packaging site, helping us meet current legislation and Diageo Global Technical Standards.   You’ll coordinate and support compliance activities across areas such as LOLER, PUWER, Pressure Systems and DSEAR, alongside the site’s wider engineering safety and compliance programme.   You’ll work with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate statutory inspections, follow up on remedial actions, maintain statutory maintenance plans within SAP and ensure engineering documentation and compliance processes remain accurate and audit-ready.   This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanical or maintenance engineer looking to broaden their expertise in engineering compliance. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of statutory and process safety requirements while helping to continuously improve engineering standards across a complex manufacturing environment.   About You We’re looking for a time-served Mechanical Engineer with strong practical experience gained within a manufacturing, production or similarly complex engineering environment. You may already work in maintenance, reliability or engineering and be looking for an opportunity to develop further within mechanical compliance.   Ideally, you’ll be qualified to HNC level or have equivalent practical experience, with a good understanding of mechanical systems, planned and statutory maintenance, and engineering safety.
