As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for;
Mechanical Design: Design parts, assemblies, and sheet metal components to bring products from concept to prototype, testing, and launch using product specifications and standard DFM/DFA methodologies. – experience req
Engineering Analysis: Evaluate or generate technical specifications, reliability, and costing of various equipment including pumps, motors, levers, lights, hardware, and assorted integrated electrical components.
Prototyping: Plan and coordinate production of prototype parts and systems for validation.
Documentation: Fully document and track engineering changes, CAD files, and test reports in cooperation with production and drafting personnel.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide engineering support to Production and Service to resolve issues on existing equipment.
Work closely with other engineers and departments to bring new solutions to market.
Project Leadership: Take ownership of small to large projects with complex assemblies and features.-nice to have past experience
Qualifications;
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Experience: 3+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environment. • Proven experience leading design projects from concept through production.
Functional / Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Advanced proficiency in solid modeling techniques and programs (Solid Edge preferred).
Understanding of pumps, motors, and fabricated component processes. – how to spec components/ pumps, motors for the pump. Mounting brackets for the pumps
Proven experience in mechanical design of complex parts, assemblies, and products.
Experience designing and prototyping electromechanical systems.
Extensive knowledge of common analytical methods including FEA and FMEA.
Strong mathematical skills and ability to work with technical instructions, diagrams, and equations.
Dedication to thorough tracking of design files, solid models, BOMs, and change histories.
