Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent - Residential

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent – Deep Drilling for our client in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical maintenance of deep drilling land rigs , with a strong focus on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Supervise mechanical maintenance and repair activities across drilling rigs. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. Monitor equipment performance and drive reliability improvements. Lead troubleshooting, failure analysis, major overhauls, and repairs. Ensure availability and effective management of critical spare parts. Support initiatives to minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT). Ensure compliance with HSE standards, maintenance procedures, and audit requirements. Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports. Lead and develop mechanical maintenance teams and contractors. Coordinate with Rig Managers, OEMs, and service providers. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 10+ years of drilling equipment maintenance experience. 3+ years in a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor/Superintendent role. Extensive experience with deep drilling land rigs, 3000 HP and above . Strong knowledge of drilling equipment maintenance and reliability practices. Experience with CMMS systems is preferred. Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills.
