The Allergy Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Open to no experience but has an interest in healthcare, teamwork experience, and detail oriented with a flexible schedule. Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am-7:30p . Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed. Have a thorough working knowledge of all standard operating protocols and policies that pertain to the clinical department, specifically within the allergy practice. Have thorough knowledge of allergy treatments and procedures to appropriately care for the patient’s needs. Proficient in pre-care and post-care treatment instructions for allergy testing and immunotherapy. Fully understand provider to patient flow and anticipate the provider’s next steps. Adapt to the provider's workflows and support the provider to maximize quality patient care and efficiency of the practice, including tasks such as scribing, managing patient records, and assisting with patient communication.
