Position Summary
The Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist II is responsible for internal and external customer inquiries, monetary transactions in accordance with Bank and regulatory requirements, credit bureau reporting, Special Asset loan servicing and other portfolio monitoring for the Mortgage loan portfolio. Advanced loan transactions, system maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Timely and accurate response to internal requests/inquires via service cases
High level interaction with Investors for servicing, reporting and research
Tracking of internal errors and resolution where needed.
Core system file maintenance
Research and resolve internal and external client requests
Daily report monitoring
Balancing internal General Ledgers
Review and resolution of Non-Post Report
Assist other areas and special projects as needed.
Special Asset loan maintenance
Collaboration with front line partners on issue resolution
Education & Experience
Knowledge of:
Mortgage Loan Servicing and/or related Loan Operations experience
High level knowledge of investor servicing parameters and reporting regulations
Knowledge of bank compliance and regulatory requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to:
Demonstrate a proactive approach to incorporating changes in processes and procedures with focus on improving customer service and process efficiency.
Perform duties under frequent time pressures.
Demonstrate effective problem resolution by making effective recommendations and implementing appropriate action.
Work independently with frequent interruptions.
Adapt to and accept changs in process requirements
Education and Training:
Requires High School diploma; higher education preferred.
5-7 years Mortgage operations and/or investor servicing experience required
Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
(Base Pay Range: $22-$24/hr)
