Merchandise Planner

Position: Merchandiser Planner Brand: Indian Luxury Skincare Industry: Beauty / Retail Experience Level: Mid-Senior (5 to 8 years) Role Overview: Our client is an Indian Luxury Skincare brand seeking an experienced and analytical Merchandiser Planner to drive merchandise planning, stock optimization, and sales performance across our retail and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in beauty brands and a keen eye for data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage merchandise financial plans to support sales and profitability targets. Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock allocation across all sales channels. Collaborate with buying, marketing, and store operations teams to align on product launches, promotions, and replenishments. Analyze historical sales trends and forecast future demand to ensure accurate stock planning. Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales and inventory reports with actionable insights. Support seasonal buying and budgeting processes with data and trend analysis. Requirements: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in merchandise planning, preferably in the beauty or personal care sector. Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with retail planning tools is a plus. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
