Position Overview :
As a Supply Chain Co-Op, you will work collaboratively and independently with highly qualified supply chain professionals who are responsible for managing the flow of inventory from Mercury Marine’s supplier partners to internal production customers.

Essential Functions:
Analyze current material flow within a process or operation to develop and implement improvements, eliminate waste, and streamline operations
Analyze actual product demand, trends, and forecasts to adjust inventory plans accordingly
Develop cost effective inventory management practices and reduce inventory through implementation of pull, VMI, or consignment programs
Support new product introduction
Assist in expanding and maintaining the PFEP database
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Procurement
Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits
Availability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) through a full co-op term running either January through August or May through December of 2027.
Technical savvy: proficiency using Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel and Word) is necessary
Strong decision-making and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles
