In this role, you will take ownership of design assignments while contributing to larger, more complex projects involving buildings, bridges, retaining walls, culverts, foundations, water infrastructure, and other civil structures. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and project managers while enjoying the freedom to develop your own processes, apply creative problem-solving approaches, and identify opportunities to improve how we work. Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 annually plus bonuses. Salary will be dependent upon multiple factors. Locations: San Antonio, TX Essential Functions: Perform structural calculations in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Prepare engineering drawings, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates using industry-standard software. Apply engineering judgment to evaluate alternatives and solve complex design challenges. Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality projects on schedule and within budget. Communicate project progress, technical issues, and recommendations to project teams and clients as appropriate. Prepare supporting documentation, permitting packages, and technical reports for projects in various jurisdictions. Assist with project planning, task budgeting, scope development, and proposal preparation. Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documents.
