What role you will play in our team   Imperial is seeking an engineer-in-training (EIT) to provide technical Instrumentation & Controls/Engineering support to its Midstream Business Canada Fuels Operations (CFO) at its distribution and pipeline facilities across Canada. What you will do The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer (EIT) is responsible for a range of duties and accountabilities, including but not limited to the following: Scope of responsibility Guide development of projects at pipeline and terminal facilities. Review field device specifications for accuracy & applicability Guide development of process control network to ensure compliance with Industrial Control System Requiremens Review drawings for compliance with standards and industry best practices Provide I&C support to field operations sites and aid in troubleshooting operational issues (onsite or remotely) Reports to Field Engineering Lead Key accountabilities PLC Programming and maintenance Maintain technical drawings (Network architecture for process control networks) Develop procedures for installing, configuring and calibrating field equipment Obtain & restore back-ups for field devices Review and documented changes to network connections and support the review/approval process The Field Engineer (EIT) is responsible for a range of duties and accountabilities, including but not limited to the following: Scope of responsibility Provide day to day, multi-discipline technical…
