The MIS Business Systems Process & Data Automation Developer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for [e.g. operating and maintaining or supporting] the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. Open to internal & external candidates. The selected candidate for this requisition may be required to occasionally (e.g. application upgrades) work outside normal business hours. Job Summary The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who will analyze, design, and implement solutions that streamline and improve business processes. This role requires a unique blend of business analysis, process improvement, and hands-on technical implementation skills. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and leverage a dual-platform approach—using both BPLogix Process Director for complex, form-driven workflows and Microsoft Power Automate for rapid system integrations and task automation—to create powerful and efficient solutions. Job Duties: Requirements Gathering & Multi-Tool Solution Design: Lead the effort to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate these needs into clear technical specifications, designing solutions that leverage the best-fit tool—either BPLogix Process Director for robust, auditable workflows or Power Automate for agile, connector-based automations. Process Implementation & Development: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies. Implement and develop optimized and automated low code solutions by building sophisticated applications within Power Apps and creating automated flows and integrations with Power Automate to connect disparate systems and services. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Business Systems. Monitor and refine automated processes on both platforms, leveraging feedback and performance metrics to enhance usability and drive efficiency, applying Agile and Six Sigma lean methodologies where appropriate.
