What we’re looking for...
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a multi-skilled Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Cumbernauld. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all machinery and equipment is installed, maintained and operated to maximise production output and efficiencies.
On site, we produce multi formats across a number of high speed modern lines, producing to high quality standards whilst maximising production outputs and minimising overhead costs.
Essential Criteria for the role:
A can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills are essential
Experience working on and maintaining equipment and machinery
Flexible / team worker
A sound understanding of Health and Safety standards is essential
"Self starter" / proactive and ability to set and prioritise workloads
Your responsibilities will include...
Provide technical support to ensure maximum efficiency from production and engineering assets, ensuring planned and corrective maintenance tasks are completed as scheduled.
Carry out fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns promptly to ensure downtime is minimised.
Input data into Maintenance CMMS system
Ensure maximum business benefit is gained from all budget spend.
Analyse line efficiency, wastage and downtime data with a view to identifying areas for performance improvement.
Manage contractors as/when required to comply with contractor management procedures.
Carry out all duties in accordance with safe working practices and factory hygiene standards.
Liaise and support Project teams throughout all phases of the process.
Provide a high level of customer service at all times
