Coordinate with engineering teams and utility providers to develop and implement compliant protection schemes and energization strategies.
Direct MV/HV testing activities, including insulation resistance, hi-pot, relay functional, primary/secondary injection, transformer oil, and cable VLF testing.
Develop and execute safe energization plans in accordance with project requirements, utility standards, and industry best practices.
Serve as the primary interface between engineering, construction, commissioning, utility, and automation teams to ensure system readiness and resolve commissioning-related issues.
Ensure timely closure of punch list items, successful system turnover, and achievement of commissioning milestones.
Maintain and verify electrical documentation, including single-line diagrams, relay logic drawings, cable schedules, test records, commissioning procedures, and turnover packages.
Ensure all commissioning records and turnover documentation are complete, accurate, and audit-ready for client handover.
Lead electrical safety planning and enforce compliance with NFPA 70E, IEEE, utility requirements, and project safety standards.
Identify commissioning risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support safe execution of all MV/HV energization activities.
Provide regular commissioning status reports, monitor key readiness metrics, and identify schedule risks and critical path impacts affecting project delivery.
