NM_103 - Senior Engineer – Vehicle Dynamics

Job Overview Responsible for the engineering development and testing of vehicle dynamics components and systems, including wheels, brakes, suspension, and vehicle layout. The role involves end-to-end ownership of component design, validation, and engineering development throughout the vehicle development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Understand product requirements and develop engineering solutions, concept designs, and testing methodologies for wheels, brakes, suspension systems, and overall vehicle layout. Own the complete design, engineering development, and testing of vehicle dynamics components across all development phases in collaboration with vendors. Perform engineering calculations and establish boundary conditions for FEA simulations. Apply knowledge of two-wheeler dynamics, manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and practical engineering considerations. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation such as DVP, DFMEA, DSS, and other design-related documents. Develop design guidelines for vehicle dynamics components and collaborate closely with Validation Engineers to establish testing procedures and test rigs. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure engineering prototypes are manufactured according to design specifications. Work closely with the NPD team to ensure timely prototype readiness and project execution.
