JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-NP-3496131 Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Neurosurgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Boston, MA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jan 04, 2027 – Apr 05, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: 3x13hr shifts per week, 6a-7p Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pediatrics Case Mix: Neurosurgery FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Removal of drains (hemovac / JP drains) JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active MA license Board: BC in Neurosurgery required Experience: Minimum 1 year neurosurgery experience DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Round with residents to develop patient care plans Review and place orders for patients See patients that require evaluation Manage patient discharges Remove drains (hemovac / JP drains) as needed
