About the Role
As Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Transition Care Service while championing clinical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Leading from the front, you'll empower and develop your team, ensure high-quality patient-centred care, and contribute to the strategic growth and success of the service.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide inspiring leadership and support to a dedicated multidisciplinary team
Champion safe, effective, and evidence-based clinical practice
Drive service excellence through quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities
Oversee workforce planning, rostering, operational performance, and budget management
Build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare stakeholders
Foster a positive, inclusive, and learning-focused culture where people can thrive
Support the development and growth of an innovative and evolving healthcare service
About You
You are a confident and engaging leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and developing high-performing teams, in addition to:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated leadership experience in acute and rehabilitation care settings
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills
A commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and inspire multidisciplinary teams
Current CPR certification
A South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
