Our challenge: We are seeking an experienced OpenText ALM Octane Engineer to administer, configure, and support OpenText ALM Octane across enterprise software development and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing workspaces, releases, pipelines, ALM Octane APIs, Jira integrations, and legacy ALM migrations. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, product, and project management teams to establish scalable application lifecycle management processes, improve release visibility, and support integration across development and delivery tools. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $100k/year & benefits (see below) The Role Responsibilities: Administer and configure OpenText ALM Octane environments, workspaces, teams, users, roles, permissions, and shared settings. Design and maintain workspace structures, products, teams, custom fields, workflows, rules, layouts, and business processes. Configure and manage: Releases and milestones, Backlogs and requirements, Epics, features, and user stories, Quality and testing workflows, Defects and defect lifecycles, Risks, dependencies, and dashboards Establish and maintain release-management processes within Octane. Configure and support Octane pipelines, deployment automation, quality gates, and integration with CI/CD tools. Develop and maintain integrations using ALM Octane REST APIs. Create API-based automation for data synchronization, reporting, administration, and bulk updates. Integrate OpenText ALM Octane with Jira and support Octane–Jira synchronization for requirements, defects, work items, statuses, comments, and attachments.
