Off Road Haul Truck Driver, Night Shift

Overview Saiia Construction, a MasTec company, is seeking a dependable Night Shift Haul Truck Driver. Working Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, you will safely transport and handle loose materials within a fast-paced quarry environment. Proven rock or haul truck experience in a quarry setting is required, along with a strong commitment to OSHA and MSHA safety standards. While an MSHA certification is preferred, it is not required—we will fully support and help you obtain it on the job. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for, but not limited to operating heavy equipment including excavator, dozers, graders, dump trucks, front-end loaders, compactors, scrapers, and water trucks to move materials to and from designated areas, participate in required training and ensure all established safety rules, procedures, policies, OSHA and MSHA regulations are followed. Responsibilities Excavator Operation Operates excavator, which digs holes and trenches and removes and transports earth, gravel, and dumps soil, sand, ore, rock. gravel, and industrial byproducts, and other such materials in stockpiles or transport trucks. Starts engine, moves hand and foot levers to control hydraulic shovel or other attachments. Uses bucket to dig trenches and holes of specified length, depth, and width, remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks.
