We're a product-first team on a mission to help grow the cybersecurity culture 🔐
We want to instill cybersecurity good practices to employees in a way that's actually effective, and entertaining enough so that employees don't feel like they're working. Think Duolingo but for cybersecurity.
We created a platform to easily rollout a cybersecurity awareness program: the platform sends chat-based 4-minutes long courses to teams. Following the courses, the other side of the platform simulates phishing attacks, to prepare employees to face hackers, but in a safe environment.
Created in 2020, Riot has raised $45m with leading investors (Y Combinator, Left Lane, Base10, Funders Club and First Capital) and is now protecting more than 2,000,000 employees in over 2,000 companies (including Intercom, Deel, and Deezer) all over the world.
Cybersecurity is everywhere. It's impacting everyone, everyday, and it's becoming the number one risk to any organization, whether it's a small business or a big firm. Yet, the cybersecurity culture in most companies is a disaster. Hackers are leveraging this by targeting the weakest link: the employees. We're on a mission to fix that.
You will join our G&A team, reporting to our VP Finance. Your main focus will be our workplace: the office and the vendors behind it, the internal events that bring the whole company together, and the support that keeps our CEO's time well spent.
What you will do 🤝
Own the place
Run the office day to day: vendors, stock, layout, maintenance, and the safety and compliance that come with a physical workplace
Build and own the office and events budget
Own office moves and capacity planning: the analysis, the options, the execution
Own the moments that gather everyone
Run our internal events end to end, from the weekly rituals to the annual offsite that brings the team together
Own the all-hands as a deliverable: slot, room, setup, running order
Take over our people rituals — welcome drinks and the rest — and make them run without anyone having to chase you
Support our CEO
Work directly with Benjamin our CEO on his time, his priorities and the logistics around them
Anticipate rather than execute on request: this part of the role is judged on what never had to be asked for
Requirements
Who you are 🪪
We don't screen on years of experience. What you have owned matters far more to us than how long you have been doing it
You have worked closely with a founder, a C-level or an exec team, and you can tell us precisely what you owned in that context
You have run internal events for 100 people or more from end to end: venue, vendors, budget, and the day itself
You have managed a site and its vendors with a budget of your own
You hold outcomes and deadlines without being chased, and you would rather anticipate a need than wait for the brief
You are precise: when something is expected at a given time and in a given form, it lands that way
You don't need to be an expert on…
