That’s where you come in. If you believe in these things too, you’re our kind of person! We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Operations Manager located in the Washington, D.C. area. What you’ll do: The Mid-Level Operations Manager will provide administrative and executive support to D PAE Maritime M & S, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment. Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate branch or department operation strategies and assist with developing and implementing organizational policies and procedures, as well as attaining operating goals. Ensure work is being completed in a timely manner by assigning or delegating work, objectives, and activities to supervisors and staff, organizing resources, giving work direction, setting deadlines, and coordinating with other departments. Ensure adequate training of staff and employee compliance with the organization’s policies and practices. Analyze costs and prepare department budgets. Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.   Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.   Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.  Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients.
