About Redwood Materials Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 by JB Straubel, co-founder and former CTO of Tesla, on a simple but radical idea: the critical minerals powering the energy transition already exist. They just need to come back. Today Redwood is the largest lithium-ion battery recycler in North America — recovering, refining, and redeploying critical minerals from end-of-life batteries back into the supply chain. On the energy side, Redwood has deployed the largest second-life battery project in the world, delivering power to AI data centers in months rather than years using proprietary energy architecture engineered entirely in-house. The company is profitable, the market it operates in is projected to grow 20 to 50 times over the next decade, and Redwood is the only company with the supply chain, the technology, and the operational scale to lead it. Operations Packaging Supervisor The Operations Packaging Supervisor is a frontline leadership role responsible for safely and efficiently leading finished-product packaging operations at Redwood Materials’ McCarran facilities. Redwood receives a wide variety of end-of-life batteries and battery-containing products, recovers critical minerals and other valuable materials, and transforms those materials into new battery materials and energy-storage products for customers. The Operations Packaging Supervisor leads the teams responsible for preparing these finished products for customer delivery. This role ensures finished battery materials and energy-storage products are packaged, labeled, documented, handled, and staged in accordance with product specifications, customer requirements, quality standards, and transportation requirements. The supervisor establishes and reinforces best-in-class operational discipline, safe work practices, product-quality controls, and packaging standards. The Operations Packaging Supervisor maintains a strong presence in the production environment, models expected behaviors, and partners closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering, and site leadership to maintain reliable packaging operations and consistent product flow. This position plays a critical role in developing operator capability, strengthening safety culture, protecting finished-product quality, and ensuring customer-ready products are completed accurately and on schedule. Responsibilities Lead daily finished-product packaging operations with an uncompromising commitment to safety, environmental compliance, product quality, customer requirements, and operational discipline. Supervise, coach, train, and develop a diverse team of packaging operators to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective production. Maintain a strong and consistent presence on the production floor and model the safety, quality, accountability, and operational behaviors expected from the team. Set clear daily performance expectations, assign work, provide timely…
