Position Summary The Operations Support Specialist 1 is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to PIT INFRA project activities, including documentation, budget and cost tracking, scheduling, procurement support, and coordination across project teams. This entry-level position helps ensure activities and deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Laboratory policies and procedures. This position is fully on-site in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide documentation and records management support for project activities. Assist with budget and cost tracking and maintain accurate financial records. Support procurement activities and coordinate with supporting organizations. Coordinate project schedules, resources, meetings, and priorities. Track tasks, action items, deliverables, deadlines, and follow-up activities. Communicate and coordinate effectively across project teams and supporting organizations. Assist with procedure revisions and implementation of process improvements. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to job functions. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, as necessary. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to management. Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings. Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Ability to coordinate schedules and track tasks through completion. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders. Ability to work fully on-site in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing administrative, operational, or project support. Experience with document and records management. Experience with budget, cost, or financial tracking.
