About the Role:
The Operator A - Preparation position is a critical role responsible for the efficient and safe operation of machinery and equipment within a manufacturing or production environment. The primary goal of the Operator A is to ensure continuous production flow by monitoring equipment performance, performing routine maintenance, and promptly addressing any operational issues. This Operator A role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe workplace and deliver products that meet company specifications. The Operator A will collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to optimize processes and contribute to overall operational excellence. Success in this role directly impacts production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Pump raw material into storage tanks.
Prepare premix slurry using company formulas.
Operate sit-down forklift.
Load scrap truck.
Adjust glaze batches as required.
Clean glaze magnetic filter after each use.
Test glaze on a regular basis.
Must meet daily glaze requirements.
Keep the work area clean and free of safety hazards.
Additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance teams.
Maintain accurate production logs and report any deviations or incidents to supervisors promptly.
Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
